MagNuts--first deadline a success!

Congratulations, Everyone! All Baldwin-Whitehall troops participating in the 2010 Fall Product Sale (aka: MagNuts) successfully submitted their online nut/candy orders by midnight last night! My personal "Thank you!" for all of your cooperation and a job well done! Couple of reminders:

1. The online magazine subscription orders have been extended until November 19, so you can still remind the girls to send Monkey emails to their family and friends who can order and pay online until November 19. Girls must log on and print out a "Detailed Order Report" and provide a copy to Leaders and myself. Leaders use the "Detailed Order Report" to enter incentives for the online magazine orders. (If girls sent the 12 emails, but did not have any online orders, they must still provide the "Detailed Order Report" to get credit and patch for the 12 emails.)

2. "Paper" subscriptions that you took credit for must be in my hand by noon Wednesday (tomorrow) so I can get them in the mail. Drop off in the bag on my front door at your convenience.

3. Delivery of our nuts and candy will be here and ready for pickup by 1:00 PM Thursday November 18! Email (kkrisa@aol.com) or call me (412-881-7472) to make an appointment to pickup your troop's order November 18-21.

4. All "Step 2" postcard/address booklets must be in my hand ASAP. If anyone needs directions to my house, call or email.

Don't forget to VOTE today!

Online Orientation

Directions to access the GSWPA Volunteer Section & GSUSA Online Orientation
Go to GSWPA web site at www.gswpa.org.
Scroll down to Volunteer Secure Site Sign-in/Registration on right-hand side of screen. If you don't see this go to the top of the page and click on Volunteer. At that point it will ask you to fill in required information. Where it asks for a password, that is of your own choosing, and the access code is the word leadership and is case sensitive; must be all lower case.

Don't forget to enter the image verification at the bottom of the page.

On the next screen, on the right-hand side under Volunteer Resources, click on Volunteer Education. (This is also where you would access Forms and other Adult Learning Opportunities. Just click on your choice.)

Under Online Trainings, click Online Volunteer Orientation.

This will take you to the GS Online Learning Web Site from GSUSA. Click on Volunteer Orientation.
In the space for Password, type discover.
Follow directions as given in training.

Some glitches you may come across:
#1 Give time to let the graphic load to begin. (graphic = a picture)
#2 Depending on the time of day you simply can't get on. Try a different time as too many people across the United States are trying to access at the same time.
